Our Philosophy
Nutrition has become a new religion. It's teeming with sects, myths, true believers and their followers, trends, and reputations surrounding various products.
Although I am neither a scientist nor a nutritional coach I devote much time to reading and studying the topic. Additionally, I consistently consult a nutritionist for each menu I plan. Here are my current beliefs within the context of running a food production company:
I do not subscribe to cleansing and detoxing; that's not how our bodies function. I avoid demonizing specific foods, instead staying informed about their effects on our body and mind.
I do believe in calorie counting, even as it tends to be approximate in dishes with multiple ingredients. I also believe in a variety of high-quality whole foods. Such a diet provides all the necessary nutrients our cells require to produce stable energy.
In line with our philosophy, we emphasize the significance of consuming freshly prepared foods over frozen or processed alternatives. Fresh foods, prepared with care and attention to detail, retain more nutritional value, offering a richness in vitamins and minerals that processed foods often lack.
That's why, at Koz We Care, we have a checklist for all food groups, including the colors of vegetables we incorporate into our menu planning. This ensures your body receives as many nutrients as possible over a week.
Your health is our priority,
Julia Koz
